Richard studied at the Architectural Association, London from which he graduated in 1986. Having Graduated with Honours he left the UK to work with the leading Architects of Australia including RAIA Gold Medal winners Philip Cox and Daryl Jackson.

Having set up in Girona in 2005, the practice’s field of activity is strikingly wide, including teaching with the Girona filmmaker Albert Serra, research into the temporary exhibitions that Mies designed for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona, and the development of an industrialized housing system.
